Well, my birthday is on 10th January *hint hint* and I have decided to make myself a little present, so I looked for these Pixi Natural Mineral Kit(s) on ebay and found a great deal: each one of them cost a little more than 5 quids!
The ebay seller from whom I purchased them is Jellyboxcosmetics (you can find her profile by clicking on the name) and she sells genuine brand name cosmetics for super barganeous prices!
Her service is fast, communication is kind, easy and clear, and she packs everything very carefully. Basically, she makes high end cosmetics a lot more accessible.
The kits came in impeccable conditions, they were brand new, still in box and I really love them!
She currently has more Pixi kits, some Bobbi Brown and YSL in her listings, so make sure you check her out! I am really craving the Pixi kit in St. Tropez now, but I shall refrain. :)
I tried one of the kits these two days, and my first impressions are really postive: the eyeshadows are highly pigmented, buttery soft, and very blendable. The blushers are very cute (especially the powder one, while the cream one is multi-purpose as it can also be used as a lipstick), and the lipgloss have a nice color choice!
The fact that they have all the products you need for eyes, cheeks and lips make them great for commuters, or if you simply have to go on a trip.
I will report more about them with a full review and swatches in the future.
I will leave you to the pictures of the two kits and a look I've done using n.2 Stockholm:
n.2 Stockholm - eyeshadows (the darkest shade is a deep plum)
n. 2 Stockholm - powder (on the left) and cream (on the right) blushers
n. 2 Stockholm - lipglosses. Look scary, but they are sheer and the red one is fantastic!
n 1. Santa Barbara - nice selection of neutrals and bronze
n. 1 Santa Barbara - powder and cream blusher. The cream one can be use as a bronzer too.
