Oasap.com haul and review - Fashion Hunter program

As I mentioned in a previous post, I joined the Fashion Hunter program on Oasap.com something like two weeks ago.

The briefcase is not super expensive looking, but it is fancy, and looks well sturdy. I like the interiors because they give me confidence enough to put my netbook into it. It has a grab handle on the top, a clasp closure with a zip underneath it, and a detachable long strap.

I love the way it looks, because you both look fashionable and professional.

 La cartella non ha l'aspetto super costoso, ma è molto carina, e sembra anche molto resistente. Mi piacciono molto gli interni perché mi danno una certa sicurezza, come se potessi tranquillamente metterci dentro il netbook. Ha una maniglia per portarla a mano, la chiusura a scatto ed anche una a zip, più una tracolla removibile e regolabile.

The second item I ordered was a vintage bib collar necklace with a cut out detail. The lenght is adjustable on the back, and I think the picture speaks for itself. Beautiful, I can see me wearing this a lot. It reminds me of France, for some reason.

La seconda cosa che ho ordinato è il colletto di metallo in stile vintage. La lunghezza è regolabile dietro...e penso proprio che la foto parli da sé. E' proprio un bel pezzo, credo che lo indosserò molto. Per qualche strana ragione, mi ricorda la Francia.

I would also highlight that Oasap has a very fast and functional customer service.

When I ordered my briefcase, I pressed "black" by mistake. I contacted them and they replied in less then 24 hrs, telling me it was no problem for them to change my order into the red one. And so they did. A+!

Sottolineerei anche come Oasap abbia un servizio clienti veloce e funzionale.

That's a pretty different turn from the usual summer collections, isn't it? When most brands bring out bright colors, neons, and so on, Illamasqua thinks about barely there make-up. 

It could have something to do with the other recent collection they put out, which was indeed a celebration of color (I'm talking about Human Fundamentalism), or because they just want to make a statement. 

I don't care much, all I know is that I like it. The idea is that, during summer, we all wear less clothes, we all get tanned (well, some more than others, but thanks twentieth century, for fake tans and lamps) and we don't need much make-up. Nude shades, some highlighting hints of gold, and considerably long lashes are just enough. If you really want a pop of color, a bright lipstick or lipgloss is just enough.

Plus, the good news is: these colors will never be out of fashion or out of season. 

Naked Strangers it is!

On another note, did you know that Skin Base foundation now comes in six new shades, increasing the total to 25 shades. That is a lot! Hopefully, I can find the perfect one for me, now.

I'm alive, plus things I'm loving

My computer is back in my hands now, so I will soon be back with reviews and make-up looks. Yay!

1. Fashion bargains at OVS Industry.
I have found tons of great pieces for the fabulous price of 5, 10, 15 euros. Some are from the Baby Angel collection by Elio Fiorucci, which is supposed to be targeted for teenagers, but what do I care? (that actually leads me to fact #2)

2. Being told I look 20!
Who would have thought the girl who was mistaken for an 18 years old at the age of 14 could later look 8 years younger than her actual age?
Truth be told, I have never felt the urge to grow in age. Just in freedom and independence.

Essere scambiata per una ventenne!

Chi avrebbe mai immaginato che la ragazzina che veniva scambiata per diciottenne a 14 anni, potesse in seguito dimostrare la bellezza di otto anni in meno della sua vera età?

La verità sia detta, io non ho mai avvertito l'urgenza di crescere se non in libertà ed indipendenza.

3. Illamasqua's Summer Collection
I will talk about this one tomorrow. But I loooove, love, love, love some of the pieces. And you know that no one does it like Illamasqua do.

4. Sanoflore's Huile des Delices
This dry oil has been given to me at the last CAI event and it is magic! It is the oil of wonders. It can be used on face, body, and hair, and I am especially loving its usage as a hair mask before shampooing. I can keep my curls disciplined with it. I am afraid this is not available in all countries, but check out the internet. And I will review it soon.

Olio delle Delizie Sanoflore.

Quest'olio secco mi è stato dato all'ultimo evento CAI e lo trovo magico! E' l'olio delle meraviglie in realtà. Si può usare su viso, corpo e capelli e io sto adorando in particolar modo il suo utilizzo come impacco per capelli pre-lavaggio. Ottengo ricci abbastanza disciplinati utilizzandolo.

Spotlight on Roger & Gallet: Fleurs d'Osmanthus, Bois d'Orange, Eau des Bienfaits

Before being involved into the magical world of the CAI division of L'Oréal, I used to pass by the Roger & Gallet corner thinking that with all those incredible smells, luxurious packaging and the position the stand occupied in the store, their products were way out of my budget. Ah, little did I know! 

Prima di prendere parte al meraviglioso mondo CAI (una divisione del gruppo L'Oréal), 

ero solita passare davanti alla sezione dedicata a Roger & Gallet senza nemmeno fermarmi, convinta che quegli incredibili odori, le confezioni lussuose e la posizione che 

lo stand occupava nel negozio mi dicessero che quei prodotti erano davvero fuori budget per me.

Ah, povera me! 

In reality, Roger & Gallet's products are much cheaper than you'd think. And if we really compare the size and how much every milliliter of product costs, we would surely come to the conclusion that we will swear to R&G for the rest of our lives: their perfumes are enchanting, with a wide range of smells that would suit almost anyone, independently of their age; their creams are nourishing and enveloping and the price is only "big" if the size is big. If you don't believe that, consider this: a 30 ml sized fragrance costs € 17,50 as opposed to the cheapest brand-name/designer fragrance on the market (same size) that costs at least € 25,00. 

In my humble opinion, that sounds like a much fairer price to pay. 

In realtà, i prodotti di Roger & Gallet sono molto più convenienti di quanto si possa immaginare.

E se facciamo un paragone tra i millilitri contenuti nelle confezioni ed il loro costo unitario, 

è presto detto che useremo solo R&G vita natural durante: 

i profumi sono incantevoli, con una gamma così vasta da accontentare tutti, indipendentemente dall'età; 

le loro creme sono nutrienti e avvolgenti e il prezzo è "grande" solo se lo è la confezione. 

Se non ci credete, tirate un po' voi le somme: 

una fragranza di 30 ml costa € 17,50 a differenza del più economico profumo di marca sulla piazza (della stessa grandezza) che costa almeno € 25,00.

Secondo il mio modesto parere, è un prezzo decisamente più onesto. 

Funded in Paris in 1862, Roger & Gallet's aim has always been well-being through perfume. The refinement of natural ingredients, the creation of a unique sensory experience around perfume, toiletry and body care define this brand and each one of their products. And I must say, they do it successfully. Their scents are the scents of all things wonderful in our Planet, and they will never be out of fashion. Try it yourself, simply by smelling their scents next time you're near a R&G's corner, and please come back here and tell me if I'm wrong. My mother, cousins and all of my friends are now Roger & Gallet's enthusiasts.

BOIS D'ORANGE - Crème subilme mains et ongles (not available in every country!)*

Deeply nourishing, thanks to Argan oil, and protective - with an SPF of 15. Part of the "invigorating" line, this is a blend of freshness and fruity softness, with all the bittersweet smell of citrus fruits, spices, musk and amber. 

Profondamente nutriente, grazie all'olio di Argan, e protettiva - con un SPF di 15. Parte della linea "tonificante", è un buon compromesso tra freschezza e piacevoli note fruttate, con l'agrodolce degli agrumi, le spezie, il muschio e l'ambra. 

FLEURS D'OSMANTHUS - Eau Perfumée, Savon Perfumé, Lait Velouté Hydratant pour le Corp*

(don't you just love French? I know I do...) The "euphoric" range, meant to transport into a Chinese Garden of Eden, in quest of the mysterious flower of happyness.
I do feel happy when I spray this on (which is, almost everyday)...and sophisticated, and rather fierce. With heart of  mandarin, grapefruit and benzoin essential oils, this has won my heart over. 

(quanto mi piace il francese?!) La linea "euforizzante", che dovrebbe trasportare in un Giardino dell'Eden in Cina, 

alla ricerca del misterioso fiore della felicità. 

Ed io mi sento davvero felice quando mi spruzzo addosso questa fragranza (praticamente ogni giorno)...e sofisticata, e anche fiera. 

Un bouquet di fiori di osmanto, con olii essenziali di mandarino, pompelmo e benzoino,

questa linea mi ha proprio conquistata!

EAU DES BIENFAITS - Eau de soin perfumé *

This is part of the "Jean-Marie Farina refreshing" line, and it is something I had never experienced before.
The smell of this fragrant water is very remiscent of summer. Fresh and fruity at the same time, with blood orange, mandarin, bergamot and lemon, as well as notes of violet, orange blossoms, cedar and patchouli that add a little bit of depth to it. But this is not why this product is peculiar.
What really makes it unique this water has a selection of active ingredients known for hydrating and softening properties: aloe vera, kiwi, gingseng, and fruit acids. You just spray all over your body, massage a little and you will instantly feel that your skin is a lot softer.
Call it a new (and improved) version of a body mist, because you can use the exact same way (in the morning, right after sport, when you're hot, and before going to bed.
Eau des Bienfaits will be sold from May on, with a recommended retail price of € 33,00 for 100ml. 

Presto parte integrante della linea "rinfrescante" "Jean-Marie Farina" (e diretto erede dell'Acqua di Colonia)

Eau des Bienfaits è qualcosa che non avevo mai visto prima. 

Il profumo di quest'acqua profumata ricorda l'estate. Fresco e fruttato allo stesso tempo,

con note di arancia, mandarino, bergamotto e limone, ma anche di violetta, fiori d'arancio,

cedro e patchouli che gli conferiscono un po' di profondità. 

Ma non è questo che rende particolare il prodotto. 

Quel che fa di Eau des Bienfaits un'acqua unica è che contiene degli 

ingredienti attivi conosciuti soprattutto per le loro proprietà idratanti e addolcenti:

aloe vera, kiwi, gingseng, e acidi di frutta. 

Basta spruzzarlo su tutto il corpo e massaggiare per sentire subito quanto lascia la pelle morbida. 

Potete anche dire che questa è la versione rivisitata (e migliorata) di un'acqua termale,

perché si usa esattamente nello stesso modo (al mattino, dopo lo sport, quando si ha caldo, e prima di andare a dormire).
