Winter boots from FitFlop

£ 135,00

£ 110,00
These winter boots from FitFlop come with the usual built-in technology as other FF shoes. Comfty much?
I think they don't look oh-so-chic, but I came to the conclusion that for the winter, ugly boots are the best boots. They're warm and comfortable! In this case, they also keep you fit.
Have you ever tried this? Are you going to buy them? The first pair (the black ones) are going to be discontinued soon!

As per usual, go on the FitFlop official site if you want to find a retailer near you, take a look at the offers or also buy online :)

expression of gratitude

Dear Followers,
I just want to thank you all for expressing your support to me after reading my situation.
It is much appreciated. I could see that a lot of people could relate to my story in some way or another, and that really saddens me.
It is hard to try and keep shining on, smiling on, and carrying it on in the first place.
I have days when my vision of the world is all gloomy, and days when I can still see a glimpse of hope and fight with all my strenght.
To all of you I say, we shall come unite. All of the students and workers who are suffering, who are oppressed by the current laws (and trust me, the laws are not a consequence of the current economic situation, but rather an expression of our politicians)...we are fighting for a common objective: changing the current situation. Therefore I say, we shall come unite. The students' fight is my own fight as a researcher, the workers' fight is my own very fight as a worker who hasn't seen her salary in months and quite possibly won't see it until spring.
This has nothing to do with our political views. This has to do with our RIGHTS as HUMAN BEINGS. With our DIGNITY and INTEGRITY. And it is no more about our future; it is about our PRESENT!

Please, don't think that protests and riots are a waste of time. They are only a waste of time when you make them be a waste of time. When you complain, but you don't act (as peacefully as you can. I am against all sorts of violence), or you let a very small group of people act.
Remember nothing is irreversable. Remember the 60's and the 70's are part of our history, and all the changes that have been made in those years, all the rights we got from those protests and riots were made by people like us: tired of their poor situation, tired of being degraded and diminished just for the corruption and insensitivity of others.
Why did that work? Because all people came unite. The times are right to do the same thing. But remember:

UNITED WE STAND, DIVIDED WE FALL

Doesn't matter where in the world you are,
we are all struggling in the same way.
We are all suffering in the same way.
We are all human beings in the same way.
Let's get together.

Thank you, again. Thank you all very much.

Liz Earle Botanical Shine Shampoo and Conditioner review

Two months ago now, I was sent the Liz Earle Botanical Shine Shampoo and Conditioner to try and review on my blog.
These two products have taken many years of developing, before they could actually have the all natural, effective formulation we all know today, and they were definitely worth the wait!
The Liz Earle Botanical Shine Shampoo and Conditioner are both Sodium lauryl/laureth sulphate-free, paraffin and paraben-free, and contain a list of many great naturally active ingredients such as Aloe Vera, West African Shea (harvested by a women cooperative in Africa), Sweet Orange Oil, Vitamin E, Rosemary Oil, Vanilla, Cedarwood, Lemon Oil, Apple Oil, Carrot Oil, Geranium and Patchouli (to have a full insight of how you can beneficiate from these ingredients, click here).
The first thing you're going to notice is their incredibly beautiful smell, which is really one of the most pleasant I have ever smelled. You can detect the fruity components immediately.
The Shampoo cleanse very well, lathers up really well, and give your hair a great, healthy shine. Hair is left soft and light.
I finished it just the other day, and I am definitely going to repurchase it.
This shampoo is also suitable for ALL HAIR TYPES, which makes it great for family purposes. A 200 ml tube of this retails for £ 7.50 and will last 2 months if you are the only one who uses it, once every 3 days. And bear in mind, my hair is very long!

The Botanical Shine Conditioner is available 3 types (dependently on the hair type). I was sent the Normal Hair one, which I have yet to finish (and it's been 2 months). It contains more or less the same ingredients as the shampoo, with the addition of Blue Seakale Extacts, Meadowfoam Seed Oil, and Yangu Oil (again, for an insight on the ingredients, check this page out).
This conditioner leaves the hair soft and shiny without building too much on it. You only need this on the lenghts of the hair, and again, it smells divine!
This also retails for £ 7.50 for a 200ml tube, and I think it is definitely good value for the money.

With both products, a little goes a long way.
They rapidly have grown on me as my all time favorites, and I honestly think they will be the only shampoo and conditioner I'd ever use from now on.
I highly recommend you try these products if you are going to order from Liz Earle, as there are also 50ml tubes retailing for £4,00 on the site.

Also, check out Liz Earle's Christmas gifts and sets offers on the site, I think they'll all be a very welcome gift, especially with the extra care the staff takes when wrapping up your purchase!
The wintry, Christmas packaging - looking like tartan - is really really cute!

My opinion on these products is 100% enthusiastic, and I am going to repurchase them as they are FANTASTIC!

PS: I apologize for the pictures, I've taken them from the official site. Packaging is really sturdy, but I was just too lazy to take pictures now, as I am exhausted (been working an incredible amount of hours).
