Right before Christmas, I was kindly sent this palette to try from the lovely people at Sleek MakeUP.
It might seem a little late to post this now, but I really needed time to play around with this palette before deciding whether I liked it or not.
The thing is, I only read positive reviews about it and I could not relate to them, so I really wanted to make sure it was not me who was using it the wrong way.

So che potrebbe sembrare un po' tardi per pubblicarne la recensione, ma avevo davvero bisogno di tempo per capire se la palette mi piace o meno.
Il fatto è che ho letto talmente tante recensioni positive, e non potendo condividerne il contenuto, ho voluto essere sicura che non fossi io ad usarla male.
The Sparkle 2 palette contains 12 super bright eyeshadows, which may looks all sparkly in the pans, but not when applied.
This is exactly the reason why I do not like this palette: there is a major glitter fall-out, which leaves the shades simply matt or shimmery. I tried the shadows both with and without base: the only difference is that the color pay off for the matt shades is actually decent with the cream base underneath, whereas it lets me down without a base.
Granted, there are some beautiful shimmery shades in the palette, such as Truffle, Mulled Wine, Gold Ribbon...but is it enough of a reason to purchase this? No, not in my opinion. Sleek can do, and has done better so far!
La Sparkle 2 contiene 12 ombretti di colori molto accesi, che sembrano pieni di brillantini nella palette, ma che li perdono tutti quando vengono applicati sulla palpebra.
Questo è esattamente il motivo per cui non mi piace questa palette: i glitter cadono tutti e gli ombretti dunque restano semplicemente opachi o luminosi. Ho provato con e senza base, ma l'unica differenza è che la scrivenza degli ombretti diventa decente con una base cremosa sotto, mentre senza base anche la scrivenza lascia un po' a desiderare.
Certo, ci sono delle tonalità shimmery davvero molto belle nella palette, quali Truffle, Mulled Wine, Gold Ribbon...ma è una ragione valida per affrontare l'acquisto di questi tempi? No, secondo me non lo è. Sleek può fare ed ha fatto molto di meglio!
I am not saying the palette is horrible, but compared to the previous wonderful palettes Sleek has released, this has really let me down.
The colors are beautiful (despite not easy to work with, compared to their other buttery shadows), but if the glitters do not stick to your lid unless you use some glitter glue, I don't see how this can be worth the purchase.
Non dico che la palette sia orribile, ma in confronto alle altre bellissime palette di Sleek, questa mi ha decisamente delusa.
I colori son belli (nonostante non siano molto facili da lavorare, soprattutto comparandoli alla cremosità di quelli delle altre palette), ma se i glitter non restano sulla palpebra se non ci si mette la Glitter Glue, non vedo perché valga la pena di fare questo acquisto.

I still love Sleek palettes, I really want to try their contour kit, aqua pencils and lipsticks, but this one product in particular, I cannot rave about.
Adoro comunque le palette Sleek, e vorrei provare il loro contour kit, le aqua pencils e i loro rossetti, ma questo prodotto in particolare mi ha davvero delusa.
